Erin Faircloth is an artist currently residing in Savannah, GA. She earned her BFA in Drawing and Painting from the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia. She works with various media, focusing primarily on oil painting, airbrush, printmaking, and ceramics. In her most recent body of work, Erin examined childhood as a means for escapism and the not-quite tangibility of nostalgia. In previous works she has studied communal gatherings and societal traditions, focusing on what is left unspoken in private moments. She utilizes highly stylized figures, saturated colors, and detailed patterns to dissect and synthesize controversial and intimate topics.
